Workshop Facilitation Leadership Certificate Program

Enabling effective and meaningful customer and partner engagements.

This facilitation leadership program helps individual contributors, managers and leaders embody the tools and facilitation practices in their everyday projects and client engagements.

Overview

This 1.5-day learning program covers the why, what, and how of facilitation practices. Through exercises and examples, participants will practice and reflect on their facilitation and listening styles, and how they apply them in their teams and projects.

Listening is fundamental to facilitation and problem-solving. Intentionally practicing our skills as listeners can lead to more effective engagements and a better understanding of users' needs.

Facilitation practices can help teams better operate in projects with multiple perspectives and agendas. Further, it can help engage individuals who might otherwise struggle to see their role or how they can contribute in workshops or group settings.

What is the program format?

In this remote and live learning program, we use multiple exercises and methods so that you can experience the concepts rather than be lectured.

At times that means we’ll work in pairs or small groups, on our own or a combination depending on the moment. We'll use Miro or Mural boards to facilitate certain exercises and illustrate ideas. No prior use of Miro or Mural is required. After the course, you can continue your work on the digital board with a free trial.
